Create Wave Master digital perm machine, wall-mounted or on a stand

Create Wave Master is a Korean machine for hot-rod digital perms. The manufacturer presents it as the next step after classic setting and digital perm machines: the heater delivers heat from the rod surface quickly and evenly, so larger rods can still give a soft, natural-looking wave. Each rod has its own temperature sensor, and the LCD display shows what is happening throughout the service - current and set temperature, set and remaining time.

According to the manufacturer, a thin-film heater wraps the whole rod, so the temperature climbs fast, recovers fast and stays even along the rod. If a rod is disconnected or faulty, a lamp flashes and an alarm sounds until the stylist fixes it. A movable silicone ring on each rod lets you see at a glance that it has heated up. The manufacturer also states that the rods contain hwangto (Korean yellow clay) and give off far-infrared heat during use, and that a built-in ionizer releases negative ions. A strong fan cools the rods down quickly once a program ends.

The machine is designed to handle two clients at once, with the rods split between them. The manufacturer also notes that the body was designed around how the stylist and the client move during the service.

Wall-mounted or on a stand - what is the difference. The machine head is the same in both cases and has a wall-mount connector on the body. The wall-mounted version hangs on the wall and keeps the floor clear, which suits a fixed station. The stand version sits on wheels, so you can roll it to any chair or move it between rooms. Which rods does this machine take?

Create Wave Master rods, sold as a separate listing in regular and long versions. Create rods for Minimini machines are a different line, and the manufacturer does not state that they fit the Wave Master.

What voltage does it run on?

The manufacturer's description does not give the voltage. This is Korean equipment, so we confirm the voltage and plug type when you order.

Can I get the machine with training?

Pick a program with the MENU button and the arrow keys, then press START/STOP. Temperature and time can be adjusted by hand: 60-140 °C in 1 °C steps and 1-30 minutes in 1-minute steps. MUTE silences the rod alarm, and separate buttons switch the ionizer and the cooling fan on and off. When a program ends, a melody plays for 5 seconds and the fan then runs automatically for 5 minutes.

Built-in programs, according to the manufacturer:

• Direct Perm: 60-80 °C, 5-9 minutes, cooling straight after.
• S-Style Perm (hair long enough for 1-2 turns around the rod): 80-110 °C, 8-15 minutes.
• M-Style Perm: 80-120 °C, 9-16 minutes.
• L-Style Perm (about 3 turns): 90-140 °C, 9-18 minutes.
• Special Mode: two-stage heating. Mode A goes from high to low temperature (soft hair, twist winding), mode B from low to high (long hair with uneven damage).

Each program has sub-settings by hair condition: coarse healthy, normal, slightly damaged and very damaged. The final setting is the stylist's call, based on the solution and the client's hair.
