Short answer
To offer Korean perms in Dubai, a salon needs five things: a digital perm machine with its own rods, a hair steamer, perm solutions, an iron or curling iron for finishing, and aftercare. A full station built on the Create Wave Master comes to about $4,855 (about 17,840 AED) before rods and shipping; a compact station on the Create Twin Bell Plus comes to about $3,200 (about 11,760 AED). Korean perms already sell in Dubai: a local salon guide puts the price for clients at AED 350 to AED 1,200 depending on hair length and method. Why Korean perm equipment is worth it in Dubai
Korean perms are an established service in Dubai. The salon guide Korean Hair in Dubai (updated August 2026) lists cold and digital perms, men's perms, and prices from around AED 350 at budget salons to AED 1,200 and more at premium venues. Business Bay, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah and Jumeirah Village Circle are among the areas it covers.
What is harder to find locally is the original Korean equipment. When we checked in October 2026, we did not find an official Create distributor listed in the UAE, while we found three local Create dealers across Singapore and Malaysia. For a salon in Dubai, ordering from Korea is the direct route to the original machines.
What a Korean perm station needs
1. A digital perm machine
This is the main purchase. A digital perm machine heats each rod to a set temperature for a set time, so the curl holds its shape better on medium and long hair. We supply three Korean Create machines:

The Wave Master is designed for two clients at once, with the rods split between them. That matters for a busy salon in Business Bay or the Marina, where one station has to earn its floor space. The wall-mounted version keeps the floor clear; the stand version rolls between chairs.

2. Rods for your machine
Rods are bought separately, and each machine takes its own line: the manufacturer does not state that rods of one machine fit another. Build the set around the hair lengths you see most often.
- Create Wave Master rods, regular 9 cm and long 13 cm - $24 each.
- Create Minimini rods, 12-30 mm and long 18-25 mm - $18 each.
- Create Twin Bell Plus rods, 12-30 mm - $18 each.

3. A hair steamer
A hair steamer keeps the perm lotion warm and moist while it processes, so the product does not dry out and every strand develops evenly. It also works for colour and treatments.

4. Perm solutions
For digital and hot perms, Korean stylists use cysteamine-based solutions. Two Beati lines cover most salon work:
- Beati Miracle Silky Glow - H for healthy hair (pH 7.0) and N for damaged hair (pH 4.5), mixed after a consultation, with an L neutralizer that contains collagen. For digital perms and straightening. $72 per 400 ml pouch.
- Beati Multi Silky Glow - one acidic solution (pH 3.0) for all hair types, adjusted by time and heat, with a neutralizer that contains hydrolyzed keratin. For classic rod perms and hot perms. $72 per 400 ml pouch.

5. Irons, dryer and aftercare
